The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has embarked on a mission to support micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by providing access to broader markets through the holding of trade fairs, training sessions, and other promotional activities. These activities support small businesses by highlighting and promoting products that are unique to each town or region. Through these regional and national trade fairs, MSMEs can showcase their products, access new markets, establish new business networks, and increase sales. Read More.

DTI’s National Food Fair kicks off a feast of flavors

A glorious afternoon event, titled the Philippine Cuisine and Ingredients Show, ushered in this year’s Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) National Food Fair on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. Held at SM Megamall’s Megatrade Hall, the fair will run until Sunday, April 13. People should not hesitate to drop by, as it’s a great way to experience and support our local MSMEs. DTI BAGONG PILIPINAS B2B MARKETPLACE REGIONAL ROADSHOW IN BATANGAS

Held on May 16, the Batangas leg of the DTI-Bagong Pilipinas B2B Marketplace Roadshow welcomed 81 participants, with 73 MSMEs and 8 DTI Region IV-A personnel in attendance. Regional Director Marissa Argente graced the event, as MSMEs were onboarded to the digital platform designed to connect them with institutional buyers and boost long-term competitiveness.

The next sessions will be held in Legazpi on May 22, followed by Tacloban (June 4), Cebu (June 10), Cagayan de Oro (June 18), Davao (June 24), and Clark, Pampanga (July 2)—bringing the platform closer to more local entrepreneurs across the country.

DTI BAGONG PILIPINAS B2B MARKETPLACE REGIONAL ROADSHOW IN CAVITE

The DTI-Bagong Pilipinas B2B Marketplace Roadshow made a successful stop in Cavite on May 14, gathering 59 participants, including 48 MSMEs and 11 DTI Region IV-A staff. Led by Assistant Regional Director Revelyn Cortez, the session focused on orienting local entrepreneurs on how to navigate and maximize the B2B Marketplace platform—paving the way for stronger digital engagement and wider market access.

DTI BAGONG PILIPINAS B2B MARKETPLACE REGIONAL ROADSHOW IN BAGUIO

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through the Bagong Pilipinas B2B Marketplace Regional Roadshow, concluded its first leg with an engaging roadshow event in Baguio graced by DTI-CAR Regional Director Atty. Raymond G. Panhon.  A total of 64 participants joined the session, including 44 MSMEs from the Cordillera Administrative Region and Region 1, supported by staff from DTI OTOP-PMO, DTI CAR, and DTI Region 1.  The roadshow served as an orientation and consultation session for MSMEs, guiding them through the use of the B2B Marketplace website. With its mission to equip MSMEs for digital engagement and long-term market access, the DTI-Bagong Pilipinas B2B Marketplace Roadshow is set to continue across the country. Upcoming legs will be held on May 14 (Cavite), May 16 (Batangas), May 22 (Legazpi), June 4 (Tacloban), June 10 (Cebu), June 18 (Cagayan de Oro), June 24 (Davao), and July 2 (Clark, Pampanga).
